		<description>I agree with the other. The AVE is great and fast, but can be expensive unless you book online and well in advance - but it only takes 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Otherwise there is a bus company called ALSA that has regular bus service between Madrid and Barcelona - Single ticket around 30 to 45 euros depending on day and time.

		<description>You don&#039;t need to take the AVE high speed train, you could just use the slower service. Check out times and costs on the following website in English. It will be a heck of a lot quicker than the bus.
