What jobs are there that suit people who love overseas travel and work well in customer facing roles?

I love traveling all over the world and love working with the general public. I have worked as a travel agent and a representative for overseas travel companies but want to try something different. Any suggestions?

based on your education many options might open for you.
But easiest of them would be to work as tour guide or tour organiser for various place..that you might start off as a enterprenourship as well.
this would ensure the following things:
    roaming around the places
    money
    Meeting various people..

I run a travel biz, and work with many tour guides in different countries. Most of them lead a fascinating, exciting life that they love, and if you love traveling, learning and working with people, this could be for you.

I also get lots of blind applications from people wanting to be tour guides, and work at my company. I know it’s not the easiest thing to break into if you don’t have the experience (especially in this economy when travelers are cutting back).

A couple of things that would help get started: (a) If you can gain some experience guiding in an area you already know a lot about, you can build experience there, then branch out (b) There are schools that specialize in tour guide training, and completing those courses can give you some added credibility.

    Good luck with it!
